motivated, energetic, and articulate EdPlus Financial Intake
Services Lead to join our high-performing team in the Success
Coaching Center. Every day, you will make a difference in the lives
of others by developing and cultivating EdPlus Financial Intake
Specialists to perform at their optimal best while ensuring the
goals of the department and the University have been achieved.
Essential Duties: Collaborates with Financial Aid and Scholarship
Services to ensure operations are timely and that effective service
is provided to students. Works with University departments to
resolve concerns around benefit and aid processing, certification,
and disbursements. Cultivates an environment that empowers staff to
be proactive as they deliver attentive, quality service to
students. Uses a leadership style that is firm and goal oriented
that motivates and engages others in an enthusiastic way. Learns
quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting
to changing conditions and competing priorities. Addresses all
aspects of staffing, training, and professional development in a
highly consistent manner. Collaborates with key stakeholders to
provide a comprehensive service approach, address opportunities to
improve services for the student experience, and bolster student
success. Establishes goals, executes progression plans, effectively
delegates, and resolves general issues and concerns of students.
Monitors production and quality of student/specialist interactions,
evaluating opportunities to benchmark, enhance, and improve the
student experience. Provides direction to staff concerning
assignments, activities, and schedules to ensure the delivery of
the excellent service required to meet/exceed departmental goals.
Handles highly sensitive and/or complex issues with students and/or
parents. Assists with troubleshooting system issues and acts as a
point of contact for questions regarding processes. Identifies
trends and recommends alternative solutions to resolve problems.
Coordinates and assumes other duties or projects as assigned or
directed. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a
related field. Demonstrated critical thinking skills to identify
issues and potential solutions while tracking towards resolution.
Demonstrated proficiency with financial aid regulations and
processes. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to
multi-task. Evidence of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite,
PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and other basic computer programs.
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and problems. Demonstrated
ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner;
listens attentively to others, understands material, and provides
instructions to all employees. Demonstrated ability to rapidly
adapt and effectively utilize new technology, practices, policies,
and methods. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with peers, specialists, faculty,
students, administration, and other interested parties.
Demonstrated ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of a
diverse student population. NOTE: Please answer the following

Salary & Benefits: $61,400 - $76,700 per year; DOE The target
