Job Description Job Description Description: A Fleet Driver picks-up and delivers customers for the dealership. Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards. Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers. Requirements: Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable company policy and procedures and traffic laws and regulations Observe rules of the road and demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques Evaluate and coordinate logistics of shuttle runs efficiently to maximize time Assist customers getting in and out of shuttle; maintain polite conversations with customers while they are using the courtesy shuttle Update status of runs and provide other pertinent information Notify Service Manager of any issues with shuttle, including when maintenance is due Report any accidents or damage immediately Maintain the cleanliness of shuttle by keeping a schedule for detailing General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers Qualifications Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required Ability to drive vehicles with manual or automatic transmission Positive attitude and professional appearance Focused, dependable, honest and trustworthy Familiar and comfortable navigating in an area 15 miles around the dealership Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Working Conditions The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
