Marriott International, a global leader in hospitality with over 8,000 properties across 139 countries, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our hotel’s facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of quality and service for which Marriott is renowned. The ideal candidate will bring technical skill and detailed understanding of hotel maintenance operations, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and hotel facilities. Inspect and troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition of supplies and parts. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols. Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs. Assist in budget preparation and ensure cost-effectiveness. Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repair skills. Ability to read and understand complex technical manuals and schematics. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k HVAC certification preferred. Certification in electrical or plumbing fields is beneficial.
