Commercial Plumbing Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services Shift: Monday – Fridays 8am-4:30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on job site) Hourly Rate: $35-50 (DOE) Location: Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job) Requirements: You must be 18 years old. You must be eligible to work in the U.S You must be able to pass a drug test. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check. For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English. You must have your own tool kit. A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required. Able to lift up to 30lbs. Job Duties: As you might expect, leadership is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be: Install, repair, and maintain pipes for carrying water, sewage, gas, and other liquids for industrial and commercial facilities. Maintain, repair, and install sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals. Unclogging stopped up sinks and fixing pipes that don't allow water to flow freely, in addition to possibly working on or with Hot Water Heaters. Effectively communicate with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed. Responsible for teaching apprentices. Manage and supervise the mechanical and plumbing on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Develop plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards Coach crew members to ensure projects are safe and efficient. Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest level of workmanship Prepare regular reports on project status, including daily progress updates.
