Job Description Job Description Lead Metal Roofing Installer / Supervisor (Exterior Finishing – Modular Construction) Russo Modular is a commercial modular building manufacturer specializing in high-quality, steel-framed modular construction. We are seeking an experienced Lead Metal Roofing Installer to oversee metal roofing and exterior finishing operations within our production facility. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for leading crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating exterior metal installations on modular units prior to delivery. Work is primarily shop-based, with limited field work. Job Responsibilities Lead and supervise metal roofing and exterior finishing crews in a manufacturing environment Install metal roofing systems on modular buildings (standing seam, ribbed panel, and architectural systems) Oversee and perform all exterior metal finishing work, including trim, flashing, wall panels, soffits, fascias, and fasteners Read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings, details, and specifications Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure production schedules are met Ensure proper flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing for watertight assemblies Perform quality control inspections and correct deficiencies as needed Train, mentor, and support installers to maintain consistent workmanship standards Coordinate with production managers, quality teams, and other trades Enforce OSHA and company safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications Extensive experience as a metal roofing installer, with prior lead or supervisory experience required Proven expertise in full exterior metal finishing systems Strong knowledge of flashing details, trim systems, and weatherproofing methods Ability to read drawings, layouts, and installation details accurately Experience in modular, commercial, or manufacturing environments preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working at heights and on elevated platforms High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accountability Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods What We Offer Competitive pay commensurate with leadership experience Full-time, steady, year-round employment Overtime opportunities Benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and holidays Primarily shop-based work with limited travel Opportunity to grow into expanded leadership roles with a rapidly growing modular construction company Company Overview Russo Modular manufactures commercial modular buildings in a controlled environment, emphasizing precision, durability, safety, and consistent quality.
