Job Description:
Test Technician - 2nd Shift Location: Phoenix, AZ Job ID: 71104
Pay Range: $24-28 Plans, assembles, disassembles, reworks and,
performs engineering development and qualification tests on various
aircraft components and systems. Analyzes and evaluates test
results to verify that required parameters have been maintained.
Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product
specifications and tolerance levels are met. Responsibilities: *
Performs functional testing per part specific pre-established test
procedure. * Monitors tests through completion, record test data,
and service test equipment as required. * Documents acceptance or
failure results. * Demonstrates proper use of simple hand/machine
tools, electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring
devices. * Performs proper loading and unloading of electronic
equipment in test beds. * Complies with applicable elements of
quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts
(ACE). * Meets internal and external customer deadlines as
determined by team. * Acquires applicable
skill/knowledge/certification as required. * Complies with safety
and hazardous waste disposal programs. * Follows plans for
production schedules and quality requirements. * Understands end
use of manufactured products. * Proficiently uses computer tools
such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions. *
Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule. *
Trains others for technical tasks as needed. * Interfaces with
other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve
problems related to business issues. * Participates in waste
minimization efforts. * Participates in audits. * Requests tools
and supplies in accordance with project requirements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * US
Citizens or Persons ONLY, this is a W2 contract, no C2C * Must be
able to submit to a 10-panel drug screening and background check
prior to start * Experience with test stands * Experience with
vibratory tables * Experience with thermal chambers * Proficient in
electronic component troubleshooting * Ability to perform
electrical assembly testing and verification per engineering
requirements. * Capable of running thermal and vibration testing *
Skilled in troubleshooting as necessary during testing processes
Qualifications: * Previous experience as a trainer or team lead *
Customer Service Experience * Strong time management * Experience
with SAP (Reporting and Analytics, Documentation, Test Data, etc.)
* Understanding of safety and waste disposal programs. *
Understands end use of manufactured products. * Strong communicator
