Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ER Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 6P - 6:30A Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR and ACLS certifications required Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Strong assessment and clinical skills Ability to work in a high-stress environment Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role includes supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The nurse will be accountable for supporting the facility's CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care will also be key responsibilities. The patient ratio during the day is 4:1, and during the night, it is 5:1.
