PM&R Physician Gilbert, Arizona Setting: Inpatient Rehab Facility Skilled Nursing Facilities Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Employment Model: W2 (Full-Time) 1099 (Part-Time) Practice Setting & Coverage Primary Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Additional Coverage: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) Physicians in Market: 4 Call: Inpatient Rehab: Shared call 1:4 SNFs: No call Schedule & Patient Volume Inpatient Rehab Census: 18-20 patients per day Call Scope: Inpatient rehab facility only Compliance Program: Yes (structured and established) Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible - PM&R Comfortable in inpatient rehab setting Team-oriented, compliance-focused Compensation Overview Full-Time (W2): Guaranteed base salary: Staff Physician: $180,000 Medical Director: $200,000 Bonus Structure: Once threshold met, 70% of billings Average total compensation: $230,000 - $425,000 Part-Time: 1099 directly through hiring entity Benefits (W2 Employees) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Full benefits package Technology & Support MD Coder App: Simplifies charge entry Assists with billing codes Ensures compliance standards are met Organization Highlights Nationwide physiatry group 100 physicians employed across the U.S. Strong infrastructure and compliance support Recruiter Highlights Strong earning potential with production upside Predictable inpatient rehab workflow Limited call and no SNF call Established national group with long-term stability
