Job Description:
Our Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the clinic
staff in front and back office settings. They provide a safe,
knowledgeable, and professional care to all patients under the
direction of provider and/or nurse and within their scope of
practice. Schedule: Monday through Friday What You'll Do: - Room
patients and assist provider as needed. - Prepare treatment rooms
for patient exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and
clean - Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning,
inventorying, and equipment checks. - Assist with scanning
paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for
provider. - Record new patients’ medical history, medications,
allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR - Reinforce
doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results - Respond to
patient and non-patient inquiries as necessary under provider
direction Skills and Experience: - Minimum one-year experience as
an MA is preferred - Certified as a Medical Assistant is required -
Scribe and/or Dermatology experience preferred Benefits : - Medical
