Telemetry Tech Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $1,200 to $1,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Virtual Monitor Technician | Phoenix, AZ | Contract We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Virtual Monitor Technician to join an innovative Clinical Command Center in Phoenix . This is a unique opportunity to work in a virtual hospital setting , delivering real-time cardiac monitoring and contributing to improved patient outcomes across multiple facilities. Position Details Title: Virtual Monitor Technician Location: Phoenix 85013-4447 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Pay: $1200 Gross Weekly Start Date: April or May (Tuesday Orientation) Contract Options: 13 or 26 weeks Schedule: Weekends & holidays based on unit needs Radius Rule: 50 miles (no local rates) Facility Highlights Advanced Virtual Hospital / Clinical Command Center Monitoring coverage for 340 beds across multiple locations Each technician monitors 45–60 patients remotely Utilizes advanced monitoring systems ( GE & Ascom ) Key Responsibilities Perform remote cardiac and respiratory monitoring via centralized systems Accurately identify, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias Recognize and escalate critical/life-threatening rhythm changes Communicate effectively with RN staff and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Follow established protocols for routine and emergency scenarios Contribute to improving patient outcomes and operational metrics Requirements Completion of an accredited program including EKG Interpretation Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (3 years preferred; strong candidates may be considered) Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam (pass/fail – one attempt only) Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm recognition Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Schedule & Work Environment Must be available for 2–3 day shifts for orientation (for night shift roles) Option to work 3 consecutive shifts Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period Holiday Requirement: Yes No Call Requirement (low census standby possible) Strict no cell phone policy (work phone provided) Must not hold another job during assignment Hiring Process Prescreen interview required ?
