Job Description Job Description Hiring a HYBRID Claims Specialist role in Scottsdale, AZ! Only required to go on-site 1-2 days per month for team events Schedule: Training Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 3 PM AZ time start (8-hour shift with 30-minute lunch) Post-Training Schedule: Monday-Friday - Flexible start time between 6:00-8:00 AM AZ time; must remain consistent once chosen Pay Rate: $22-$24/hr Bonus potential after becoming a permanent employee after 5 months. Day to day: Manage 25-30 insurance claims per day, prioritizing accuracy, compliance, and timeliness Navigate out-of-network claims and reimbursement workflows Conduct eligibility and benefits verifications, including air ambulance-specific criteria Investigate and process member appeals (not provider appeals) Gather and submit prior authorizations, medical records, and required documentation Collaborate with patients, families, employers, and insurance providers via phone, email, and online chat Maintain detailed records in accordance with HIPAA and internal documentation standards Track personal productivity and quality metrics to qualify for monthly incentive bonuses Benefits: - In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment.
