- Phoenix, AZ - $23-$25/hr. About the Role Our confidential client
is expanding its claims team and seeking a Claims Specialist to
support intake, investigation, adjudication, and customer
communications . You'll resolve claims efficiently while delivering
a clear, empathetic customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Review new claims for completeness; verify coverage and eligibility
Investigate facts, obtain statements and documentation, and assess
liability Calculate benefits and issue approvals/denials within
authority limits Collaborate with providers/adjusters ; escalate
complex cases as needed Maintain accurate notes and status updates
in the claims system Track SLAs and quality metrics; recommend
process improvements What You'll Bring 1-2 years in claims
processing/claims administration (health, dental, P&C, or
related) Familiarity with EOBs, coordination of benefits, and claim
coding basics Strong documentation, time management, and
customer?care skills Details Compensation: $23-$25/hr Type: Temp to
Hire ; full time, Monday-Friday Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite;
client will discuss flexibility) Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per
