Job Description:
State Farm seeks a proficient Paralegal to join our dynamic
Legal & Regulatory Compliance team. In this role, you will support
our legal operations using your expertise in claims processing,
policy interpretation, and case management. Situated within a
leading insurance and financial services firm established in 1922,
you will be integral in helping us maintain our reputation through
diligent legal support, ensuring compliance and expert handling of
legal matters. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings,
and closings. Conduct detailed research on legal regulations and
insurance policies. Draft, analyze, and review legal documents,
including contracts and claims documentation. Manage and organize
case files to ensure timely settlements. Coordinate with internal
departments and external entities to gather information and
documents relevant to legal cases. Maintain a calendar of deadlines
and ensure all legal deadlines are met. Communicate effectively
with clients, legal counsel, and court officials. Strong
proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw or LexisNexis)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of
insurance law and compliance regulations Efficient in document and
file management Ability to work both independently and as part of a
team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified
Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) preferred.
