Job Description:
As a CDL A Yard Driver at TransForce, your primary
responsibility is to ensure the efficient movement and management
of trucks and large vehicles within the facility's premises.
Collaborating closely with our dispatch and warehouse teams, your
role focuses on the staging of trucks for loading and unloading
freight, as well as maintaining the organization and safety of the
vehicle parking areas. This position demands high accuracy and
thorough adherence to safety protocols to meet our clients' needs
for timely and dependable shipping solutions. Coordinate the
arrangement and staging of trucks for the loading and unloading
processes. Conduct daily checks on vehicles to ensure operational
efficiency and safety compliance. Communicate effectively with
warehouse and dispatch personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Manage space allocation in the yard to optimize traffic flow and
storage. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations within the
yard environment. Proficient in operating large vehicles and
familiar with yard management systems. Strong communication and
coordination skills. Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision and part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on
safety and efficiency. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Must possess a valid CDL A license. Experience with
electronic logistics management systems is preferred.
